Welcome to China Unlimited and its creative contest for all EU citizens – of all ages and from all walks of life – with a passion for China. Take the limits off your imagination & share your experiences and visions of China!
‘China Unlimited’ is a joint project of the Mission of the People’s Republic of China to the European Union and Atlas International Culture (AIC) in collaboration with the College of Europe and Lancaster University Confucius Institute to mark 40 years of diplomatic relations between China and the EU. Throughout 2015 in Brussels, you will be able to discover the very best of Chinese culture: ping pong, qi gong, Chinese film, opera, and much more. The China Unlimited competition is just one of many ways to take part in the celebrations!
The China Unlimited contest is designed to encourage people from across the EU to share their experiences and visions of China. Anyone from any EU country can grab a pen, paintbrush or camera and express their thoughts on China Unlimited. The contest has four categories: essay, photo, fine arts and video. On the website, you will be able to explore the artworks of all participants, vote for your favourite pieces and join in the contest yourself. Get inspired by the long and rich history of ties between Europe and China and compete to win a trip to China!
All eligible contributions will be published on the website and viewers will be able to vote for their favourite work and decide on the shortlist for the big prize. In addition to prizes for the first 100 submissions received, the best contributions of each category will win a trip to China! Explore the website to find out more about the contest and participate in the votes. You will also find all relevant information concerning the rules and guidelines for taking part in the contest.
